--The Messenger's Staff is an idea of an entirely new Zelda game that Nintendo could make.
1. Link can run at the cost of stamina. Link can not run while wearing Iron Boots, Hover Boots, or the spike boots (only if he isn't on ice).
2. Link can roll. Link can ram into things by rolling. If he rolls of the edge of something, he leaps further than he would be running or walking off of it. When Link runs and then rolls the afore mentioned effect increases and he hits thing harder when he rolls into them. If Link uses the Hover Boots and then rolls, he gains the effect of the hover boots before he rolls and then will jump at the end of his Hover boots effect if he rolled at the right time. This will allow link the ability to jump further gaps that he couldn't before.
3. There are three buttons that have items that can be set to them (probably on a D-Pad) and if you hold a specific button three more items that are effect items (items that aren't interactive such as Hover Boots, Iron Boots, Bottles, Roc's Cape, etc.), can be used on the three previously occupied buttons.
4. Link can run and then climb up taller walls to get to the top of an edge than when he just walks and hops to the edge.
5. When Roc's Cape is equiped, Link will not be able to roll and instead of rolling, he will jump high in the air. But, if he also has the hover boots on, he will be able to roll instead of jumping, if he has already jumped once.
6. Link can't jump while super running (double tapping the run button once you aquire the Pegasus Boots let's you run three times as fast as normal running)
7. Link will take 5 hearts of damage if he super runs into a solid object (no matter which type of armor he has on).
8. Link can jump from a wall while he is using the spurshots, if he has Roc's Cape equiped.
9. Link can super jump from a ceiling if he has the Roc's Cape equiped. Once he jumps he automatically pulls out his sword and does a dramatic spinning dive where he slams into the ground. No matter which sword he uses, the impact does 6x normal Knight's Sword damage. This attack will also break the Knight's Sword. If Link is using the broken Knight's Sword, then he can't do this attack.
10. Link can obtain 30 hearts of total health in all.
11. Link starts the game with no magic meter but eventually learns that he has a lot of power in his blood. He learns that he has a mix of Hylian and Sheikah blood. As soon as the conversation is finished, a magic meter appears automatically.
12. When Link upgrades his Magic Meter it increases 125% in length but doubles in total Magic in the Meter.
13. If Link charges a spin attack, but doesn't release, then he can jump with the Roc's Cape and this will automatically release the charge, sending Link spinning into the air.
14. Link learns how to do the seven, sacred, sword techniques that can be seen in Twilight Princess during his adventure.
15. If Link has the Master Sword and Roc's Cape equiped, and he knows the Great Spin Attack, then he can release a tornado from around him (only if he has full hearts in the containers that he currently carries). This Tornado will also be electrified if Link has the Messenger's Staff also equiped in the place of the shield. Link must charge up a spin attack at full health and not release it. While it is still charged, he jumps in the air using the Roc's cape. This will create a towering tornado that is launched straight ahead of the direction Link was facing before he jumped. Due to this, he will be launched spinning high into the air, but he won't fall if he also has the hover boots equiped. If he has the hover boots equiped, he will ride on the top of the Tornado. If he doesn't have the hover boots equiped then he will fall using Roc's Cape (if Roc's Cape is automatically unequiped by the time he reaches the top of his jump, then he will lose one heart if he hits anything other than water at the bottom of his fall). The Tornado is at half the size it previously was at, every 5 seconds. Once it has halved in size 2 times, it will disappear. Link can also create a whirlpool under water in which case the Roc's Cape isn't needed. If Link is wearing the Zora Armor and Iron Boots, and he is under water, Link can do a Great Spin with the Master Sword (while holding the Messenger's Staff). This will start to swirl water around Link, which will last for 30 seconds, and then it will disapate. Link will stay at the bottom of the whirlpool if he keeps the Iron Boots equiped. If he unequips them, then he will be sent into the side of the whirlpool and he will lose control until he re-equips the Iron Boots, or the whirlpool stops. If Link switches from the Iron Boots to the Hover Boots, then he will slowly start to spin along the edge of the whirlpool. He will rise along the wall until either he hits the top, or the water stops spinning. If he gets to the top of the water, then he will be able to use some of his items, but he will still be spinning (this can help Link reach places he couldn't before, by using the Spurshots).
16. Link can only wear one pair of boots, one cape, one tunic, and one pair of Gloves at a time.

23. The Mail that Link is currently wearing determines how many of his total heart containers he can use. Link can use 10 of his total heart containers if he is wearing the Scale Mail. Link can use 20 of his total heart containers if he is wearing the Ring Mail. Link can use all 30 of his total heart containers if he is wearing the Chain Mail. Link can contiually gain heart containers, even if he can't currently use them. Once he gains the next Mail, he will be able to use some or all of the heart containers he previously couldn't.
24. Link's transformation into a Pheonix is as follows: he raises the Hylian Pheonix and the Messenger's Staff up to the sky with both hands; a huge storm brews; they start to glow bright whitish yellow; he brings both the sword and staff swiftly down, where in the staff strikes the ground; as soon as the staff hits the ground, Link is hit with a huge jolt of lightning; he is instantly vaporized; after he is vaporized, it starts to rain; the rain stops; the ground starts to shake violently; all of a sudden, a huge tree spouts from the ground, rapidly aging as it grows; it grows huge, and eventually dies; the leaves that fell from the tree spontaneously combust; the tree and leaves burn extremely quickly; from the ashes, springs a baby bird; this bird grows into a huge majestic creature--the Pheonix.
25. Link's Magic Meter starts out with 100 units of magic. When it is doubled, it obviously has 200 units of magic.
26. When Link dual wields the Messenger's staff with the Master Sword, Behemoth Gloves, Leviathan Crossbow, Mystics Bombs, Super Mystic Bombs, or the Lampad Boomerang, the second item uses magic when used. The Master Sword uses 5 magic for horizontal and vertical slices, helm splitters, and stabs; 10 magic for jump attacks; 15 magic for the mortal draw; 20 magic for the ending blow and spin attacks; 30 for jump strikes; and 40 for great spin attacks. The Behemoth Gloves use 25 magic per swing. The Leviathan Crossbow uses 5 magic per arrow fired. Lampad Boomerang uses 5 magic per throw. Mystic Bombs use 20 magic per bomb. Super Mystic Bombs use 40 magic per bomb.
27. Hammer Gloves normally only use 15 magic per mega rock lifted.
28. Power Gauntlets use 2 magic per big rock lifted.
29. The Hylian Pheonix uses 2 magic per swing.
30. The Messenger's Staff uses 50 magic per environment change.
31. The Cap of Souls uses 10 magic per second of use.
32. The Mirror Shield uses 5 magic per magic stuff sucked up. It uses 1 magic to reflect magic stuff or release magic stuff from it.
33. It costs 2 magic per second of super running.
34. Roc's Cape uses 1 magic per jump.
35. Fairy Charm uses 1 magic per second of use.
36. After a Mystic Bomb Explodes while Link is using the Messenger's Staff, Link can super run at the vortex it creates. If he runs right beside the vortex, it will turn toward the direction the bomb was at beside Link when he runs by it. If the bomb is placed strategically, then Link can be thrown around a corner and onto a surface that he couldn't have gotten onto before.
